Milfey Beauty Named in W Magazine's Insider Guide to Marbella

Marbella has always hada certain reputation: sun, glamour, a party that never quite stops. But the version of the city that's emerging now is quieter, more considered, and increasingly built around wellness. That's the Marbella that W Magazine set out to capture in its latest feature, The Insider's Guide to Marbella, Spain, and it's the Marbella we've spent years trying to build a home within.

We're proud to share that Milfey Beauty was named in the guide's "Where to Unwind and Reset" section, one of the places the city's own residents turn to when they want to look after themselves properly, not just quickly.

W Magazine spoke with four people shaping Marbella's cultural and lifestyle landscape today, including hospitality and tech founder Daniella Bartelli, Lima Communications founder Pilar Candil, Michelin-starred chef David Olivas, and luxury lifestyle curator Bruna Karla Kruger of Drumelia Real Estate. It was Kruger who spoke about us directly, describing Milfey as part aesthetic clinic, part spa, and a place locals mention often when asked where they book their treatments.

She singled out our Margy's Facial as a favourite, alongside the more advanced, technology-led skin treatments we've built our reputation on. What stayed with us most, though, was how she described the experience itself: "I love the attention to detail and the tranquil atmosphere. Nothing feels rushed."

That's not a line we wrote for a brochure. It's how a guest, unprompted, chose to describe a visit to us, which is exactly the kind of feedback that means the most.

We built Milfey Beauty around a simple idea: that skincare and body care shouldn't feel transactional. A treatment should never feel like something to get through. It should feel like something worth arriving early for, and staying a little longer afterward. Being recognised for that atmosphere, rather than just for a specific device or product, tells us the philosophy is actually landing the way we hoped it would.

It also places us in good company. The same article recommends Don Carlos for its recent renovation, Messina for Mauricio Giovanini's Michelin-starred cooking, and Anantara Villa Padierna Palace for its 2,000 square metre spa, a list of the addresses currently defining what luxury in Marbella looks like. Being named alongside them, in a piece written for an international audience discovering the city for the first time, is not something we take lightly.

If you're visiting Marbella after reading the W Magazine guide, or if you've been meaning to book a Margy's Facial for a while, we'd love to welcome you. Every visit begins with a conversation about what your skin actually needs, not a fixed menu of treatments. That's the part of the article we're proudest of, because it's true every single day, not just the day a journalist happened to ask.
